Basic raiding addons

The addons any raider should have is Deadly Boss Modes, GTFO, Omen threat meter and RSA is always useful.

Healers:
Some nice healer addons would be: Grid and Decursive

Tanks:
RSA and omen shine for tanks makes it easier keeping track of you aggro and switches on some bosses

In general:
Some useful addons are Quartz (cast bars) and omni CC (CD times on abilities). Then ofc every class has there own little addons with help so feel free to look around on the internet.

Adding to the list:

DXE (Deus Vox Enchounters) - one a slightly more hc raiding boss mods. Easy set up and even looking better with out customizing.

Clique - for healers like me, who want to use grid / build in raid frames and always feel bad with healers using healbot (set up right and you'll get a lot more out of it). Also a good use for dps if you need to use CD's for your raid members (Tricks of the traid for example).

Power Auras - Easy way to keep track on your spell CD's, buffs and debuffs and A LOT MORE.

A good buff addon: druids for example can use Druid timer bars. Rogues Rogue bars or Sliceadmiral.

Paladin Beacon of light, Sacred shield tracker = holy pally nice addon for keeping track of your beacon, haste buff and such.

ForteX = the way to go for Warlocks.

Tidy plates might be usefull also for tracking your buffs.


The bolded features I would say are pretty much must have things.

I wont list any of the addons already listen by Chilly and Dead.

Just want to speak about some of them listed and add some.

PAC (Power Auras) - Probably the God of all Addons, you can customize to show debuffs, weapon procs and even warnings on low mana or tracking Holy Power.

ForteXorcist - like Chilly said, good for Warlocks but just as good and useful for any class, works well in conjunction with PAC.

Some additional addons:

ClassTimers - works with each class and shows buffs etc accordingly. Helps you keep track of things you need to know concerning your class.

HealAssign - mostly for healers, used to assign healers to players. very useful on a fight like Yorshaj HC where you are forced to heal through purple sometimes.

X-perl unitframes. neat unit frames which also displays debuffs and DoT's on target which is easy to see.

ReforgeLite - Probably the best reforging addon ever. one button reforges everything that needs reforging. You can enter stat weights etc or use the presets for each class and spec and it will reforge accordingly.

WoL, WoL is not an addon but is a crucial element during progression. keeping track of who is doing what and when. Gives the team the chance to analyze their team and individual performance.
